I practice law as a self-employed attorney at law. I also have a business secretary, Mrs. Bojana Demšar who helps me at the office. I try to do my work with enthusiasm and a fair share of caution, and I always listen to the real interests of my clients. I explain them the legal aspect of their issues in the most comprehensive way. This way I get the information I need to do my job in the best way I can.

 

 

Short curriculum vitae and office establishment

After finishing the grammar school Gimnazija Postojna I studied law at the Faculty of Law in Ljubljana from which I graduated in 2002. My first employment was at the SKB d.d. bank in Ljubljana, where I worked for two years; then I did my judicial internship at Nova Gorica District Court. After passing the state bar exam I worked at the Hypo Alpe-Adria-Bank d.d. in Ljubljana for one year. Afterwards I joined the Law firm Miro Senica and attorneys, where I worked as an attorney candidate at first, and later as an attorney.

 

After five years at the law firm I realized that I like working as an attorney and having contact with clients, so I decided for an independent path, which allows me to have a more individualized approach to my clients and their issues.

 

My decision coincided with the decision of the fellow attorney Maruša de Gleria from Vrhnika to finish her professional career. We agreed that I would take over the work of her law firm, which was established in the 1950s by her father, attorney at law Josip Kotnik. I continued to work with the business secretary Mrs. Bojana Demšar who was previously working at the Maruša de Gleria’s attorney office. Since my father was also professionally active in Vrhnika for several years, my decision for an independent path is a combination of something new and something traditional.
